Abstract (EN)

In this study, the results conducted by the perception of nepotism among the employees employed within the five star hotels in Afyonkarahisar, effecting their organisational commitment were examined. The perception of nepotism was taken under consideration through three dimensions as nepotism among recruitment phase, nepotism among promoting phase and functional nepotism. Additionally, the organisational commitment of employees was examined through three dimensions under the headlines of affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment.This study was performed through three main parts. In the first part, the notion of nepotism was introduced. In the second part, the notion of organisational commitment and some of approaches related with the subject were studied. Additionally, the relationship between nepotism and organizational commitment was tried to be defined. In the third section, the aim of the study, its importance, environment under consideration and sampling, restrictions of the study were mentioned. The method, assumptions and hypothesis of this study were examined. Data collected from a survey applied among 335 employees employed within the five star hotels in Afyonkarahisar, forming the sample group; was analysed and foundations of the study were defined. Finally, this study was concluded by performing suggestions for the further studies in the base of foundations achieved.
