Abstract (EN)
This research on the Environmental Effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic is a qualitative research in the type of screening, since the existing situation is tried to be reflected as it is. The universe of the research is the Covid-19 Pandemic, which covers the years 2020 and 2021. The sample of the research consists of the cases experienced between the years 2020-2021. A literature review on the Environmental Effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic was conducted. Three sections were created in the data collection tool. In the first part, information about the pandemic and its effects is given. The negative consequences of the latter effects are given. In the third chapter, problems about the future and the present are given. The data of the research were obtained from many articles, theses and publications related to the pandemic in 2021-2022. First of all, information was given about the pandemic and its environmental effects. Content analysis, one of the qualitative analysis methods, was used in the analysis of the research data. Content analysis is the arrangement of similar data in a way that the reader can understand by bringing them together within the framework of certain concepts and themes. The aim here is to reach the concepts and relationships that can explain the collected data. For this reason, the written texts obtained as a result of the literature review on the subject were read and the problems were grouped separately by coding them under the headings of management functions. The generated codes were reviewed and their accuracy was confirmed. The approaches of the interviewed school principals to solve these problems were analyzed with descriptive analysis and presented. As a result of the study, it is possible to say that the contribution and benefits of recycling to the country's economy, therefore, recycling should not be seen as just economic gain and it is very effective in reducing the amount of waste. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, people living together in public places were restricted, so the amount of litter in public places decreased. However, the resumption of social activities after the restrictions caused a rapid increase in garbage in these areas and adversely affected the environment.
