Analysis of reinforcement applications made to reinforced concrete educational institutions in Kirikkale province

In this thesis, the studies on the strengthening of 3 educational structures in Kırıkkale Province were examined. In the study, it is aimed to affect the architecture of the building and the users at a minimum level. For this purpose, it is aimed to present reinforcement suggestions by making evaluations during the implementation phase. As a result of the study, in-situ shear wall application was made in all three educational institutions. In Yıldırım Beyazıt Anatolian High School, in addition to the reinforcement, a fire escape, warehouse, disabled elevator and hall were designed adjacent to the building. In addition to reinforcement, paint on walls and ceilings, mosaic tile coating on wet floors and corridors, and laminate flooring in places were applied in all educational institutions. The inner walls, which were weak in all educational institutions, were demolished and new walls were built in their place.
