Abstract (EN)
In this study, the information's are given about the nature of the fracture and fracture toughness in terms of fracture mechanics. The purpose of the thesis is to optimize the values of the fracture toughness. Thus, the optimization program is developed using C# program. This optimization program has been working on three fixed variables into the system. The fracture toughness is obtained by continually changing of one parameter.A sample table is generated for optimization and this table is filled using optimization program. According to generated table, different graphs are obtained in Excel. With the help of the graphs, fracture toughness values are optimized and parameter values affecting the fracture toughness positively and negatively are identified.
