Pearson correlation analysis, independent sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance and multiple linear regression analysis were used in the analysis of the study data. In the study, the trait anger, anxiety, and depression levels of the chronic disease group were higher than the trait anger, anxiety, and depression levels of the group without chronic illness. The general compliance level of the group with comorbidities to chronic diseases is higher than the group without comorbidities. According to the results of regression analysis, it was seen that trait anger, hopelessness and depression explained adaptation to chronic diseases, but anxiety did not.
