Management Of Systemıc Immune Response In Chronıc Lıver Fıbrosıs Aim: The aim of the study is to investigate the ability of the subjects with experimental chronic liver fibrosis to develop a weak specific antibody response after immunization as a result of immune stimulation with tetanus toxoid. Materials and Methods: The subjects with BALB / c type of hepatocytes were injected with TAA and the Engerix™ hepatitis B vaccine and Tetavax tetanus toxoid were administered intramuscularly. Liver enzyme levels and anti-HBs levels were measured in the serum samples of the subjects and histopathological evaluations were made in liver tissue samples. Results: In the study, serum concentrations of AST, ALT and AP enzymes were significantly increased in liver fibrosis induced by TAA. In the TAA + Hepatitis B vaccine group, the decrease in serum AST, AP level was insignificant and the decrease in ALT level was found to be significant. There was no significant difference between the control group and the hepatitis B vaccine group in terms of body weight / liver weight. The significant decrease in TAA, TAA + Hepatitis B vaccine, TAA + Hepatitis B vaccine + Tetavax tetanus toxoid groups was found to be statistically significant. When the anti-HBs levels of the control group and the hepatitis B vaccine group were compared, a significant increase was detected in the hepatitis B vaccine group. In the study, the level of Anti-HBs measured after hepatitis B vaccine was significantly lower in subjects with fibrosis than the subjects who received hepatitis B vaccine. In TAA + Hepatitis B vaccine + Tetavax tetanus toxoid group, there was a statistically significant increase in Anti-HBs level according to TAA + Hepatitis B vaccine group. Conclusion: In chronic liver fibrosis, it produces a weak specific antibody response after immunization and this response can be increased by using an immunostimulator, tetanus toxoid.
