A study on determination of agricultural characteristics ofsome green lentils genotypes in Kırşehir ecological conditions

This study was carried out in Kırşehir ecological conditions in order to determine the agricultural characteristics of 48 green lentil lines and 5 green lentil varieties, which were collected from farmers and subjected to selection through projects carried out in different years. The study carried out in the Agricultural and Research Application Field of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University in 2022 was established in Augmented experimental design with 4 replications, and during the study, the data of 12 agricultural characteristics, 3 phenological and 9 agronomic characteristics, belonging to the green lentil genotypes were revealed. As a result of the study, the highest grain yield in the plant was obtained in the genotype M-15 with 2.47 g, while the grain yield in the lowest plant was determined in the genotype M-31 with 0.24 g. Among the green lentil genotypes included in the study, it has been predicted that the genotypes that stand out in terms of both phenological and agronomic characteristics may be candidates for registration within the scope of breeding studies.
