Translation of Kissa-i Seyyid Cuneyd and Reshide-i Arab (analyzing-text)

Kıssa-i Seyyid Cüneyd and Reşîde-i Arab is a work that has been translated from Persian to Turkish language in 16th century. This story involves the love of Seyyid Cüneyd and Reşîde-i Arab, difficult struggle to be able to come together and also the adventure of people who want to find them. The story has got a substantial content in terms of comprehension and interpretation of Islamism, teaching some of religious orders and folk believes, explicating and adopting the love of history and human. The prosaic story in which poems also exist has been written in the style of frame story in which exist intercorrelated events. The work contains extraordinary creatures, places, events and also actual and historical persons, places and events all together. It is seen that the story adorned with fantastic items which stretch the imagination came into existence contemporary expression techniques as much as public storyteller style. This story that involves the language features of Old Anatolian Turkish has been written in quite simple language in proportion to period. The story has quite substantial structure in terms of template expressions like idiom, proverb as well as archaic words. Apart from literature, Kıssa-i Seyyid Cüneyd and Reşîde-i Arab is an important research for searches such as cinema, history and many other disciplines. This study comprises of three parts, Conclusion and Index of Proper Nouns apart from Introduction. In Introduction, it has been discoursed the position and importance of Kıssa-i Seyyid Cüneyd and Reşîde-i Arab in Turkish literature. In the first part of the study it has been informed about the writer, translators and the reason of being written of the story. In the second part of the study, after abstract of the story, the story has been analyzed in point of persons, place, time, religious concepts, moral opinion, social life, language and wording. And in the third part of the study, definitions of transcripts and some evaluations about language and dictation speciality of the copies take part. And besides in this part, structure method of the text, transcription alphabet and transcripted text exist. Study ends with Conclusion and Index of Proper Nouns.
