Effect of Underground literature and Beatnik Generation on Küçük İskender's poetry

küçük İskender whose real name is Derman İskender Över, is one of the 1980s generation poets. His poems belong to the literature called "Underground Literature", "Underground Literacy", "Beatnik Generation". küçük İskender is seen as a "marginal poet", "poet the edge" in Turkish literature. küçük İskender's writing of marginal and peripheral type poems brings the poet closer to "Underground Literature" and "Beat Generation Literature". In general, there is no full and outlined definition of underground literature. The fact that there are more than one view about underground literature is clearly related to not drawing the patterns. Underground literature is generally seen as the literature of the "othered", "alienated" individual or the groups called "subculture", "lower class". For the first time in the modern sense, underground literature found a response in the life and art perceptions of the Beat Generation writers are generally opposed to the system, society and the rules of life and have a marginal understanding to reject these rules altogether. When it comes to modern times, to Beat Generation opposes the established order and incorporates modern Underground literature. The poems of küçük İskender are also poems that the established order and society cannot easily accept. When we look at the history of Turkish literature, küçük İskender's poems are the first poems written within the framework of underground literature. In addition, küçük İskender's understanding of art continued in the same line from his first poem to his last poem. This situation can be explained by the consistency of the poet's attitude. küçük İskender's poems Werder influenced by the so-called Beatnik Generation.
