In today's competitive business world, intangible capital sources for the entrepreneurs are more important than tangible ones Cultural capital identifies the features formed by the attitudes and choices of the families. As human capital expresses the core competences of the individuals, social capital emphasizes interpersonal relationships. Entrepreneurs play an important role on the formation of the public by their ability to see the unseen and take the risks. Entrepreneurial characteristics of the entrepreneurs should be analyzed so that the findings of the studies might be used and play an important role on the rise of possible entrepreneurs. In this study, the effects of cultural capital, human capital and social capital features on the entrepreneurial characteristics. The data have been collected from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Young Entrepreneurs Council's Executive Board Members. Explanatory mixed method has been chosen as a research methodology hence qualitative data obtained from interviews have been used as a supporting tool for the quantitative data. Collected data from 131 participants have been used in order to analyze mentioned relationships between the dimensions of the research. The main state of the study is to determine if there is a relationship between cultural capital, human capital and social capital features and entrepreneurial characteristics of the participants. Besides that, socio-demographical features have also been analyzed in the light of these dimensions. When the quantitative analysis results have been taken into consideration, it has been found that cultural capital features of the participants have a statistically positive effect on entrepreneurial characteristics. Also, social capital features have statistically positive but limited effect on entrepreneurial characteristics nevertheless human capital features do not have any effectiveness on them. When the relationship among intangible capital features is analyzed, it has been found that there is a statistically positive relationship between cultural and social capital features. Qualitative data results have shown that courage and determination are the main factors underlying entrepreneurial process and financial gains are the vital reasons for entrepreneurship. The study might be regarded as unique thanks to the features such as qualitative data has been used in order to support the data taken from quantitative ones, intangible capital features have been taken into consideration simultaneously and entrepreneurship has been regarded as phenomenon.
