Pre-prophethood lives of ulu'l-azm prophets in context of Qur'anic verses

After Allah almighty created and sent human to the world, he sent prophets to these people to remind them of the purpose of creation. Besides their prophetic attributes, these prophets, who were expected to be taken as a role model by the society they were sent, their pre-prophetic lives became the completing aspect of their prophethood. Exemplary lives of the prophets are frequently mentioned in the stories of Qur'an. As a requirement of divinity, our Lord prepared the prophets whom he chose for this mission from their birth and to whom He addressed by divine revelation. This divine nurture, in addition to keeping them within the monotheistic line before their pre-prophetic lives, was also the guarantee of a secure matter that protected them against polytheism. For this reason, the unbelievers could't raise any social, moral or practical objections to the pre-prophetic lives of the messengers. The related extracts of pre-prophethood lives of Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus and Prophet Muhammed, accepted as Ulu'l-Azm prophets, should be understood within this context. With this regard, Holy Qur'an, which provides detailed information about pre-prophethood of Prophet Abraham, does not give detailed information about the lives of some prophets. This study has aimed to investigate the pre-prophethood lives of the aforementioned prophets. Moreover, some pre-titles were opened and studied in detail so that the issue can be better studied and understood. As a result, the divine nurture and superior virtues, which these prophets achieved before their prophethood, played a facilitating and complementary role in their missionary duties during the prophethood.
