Abstract (EN)
The concept of bagy, which is used in dictionaries in the sense of wanting, desiring, transgression, rage, injustice, exuberance, is used in the Qur'an to describe different situations on different subjects. The concept of Bagy and its derivatives appearing in 96 places in the Qur'an shows the importance of this concept. Since it has a close semantic relationship with some important concepts such as blasphemy, cruelty and tugyan, it gains further importance due to its contribution to the understanding of these concepts. When we look at the studies both in Turkey and in the Arab world, we see that these studies deal with the concept of bagy from different angles rather than directly in terms of its use in the Qur'an. In these studies, the concept of bagy is generally examined on the basis of the combination of bagi/bugat and the subject is approached in the context of criminal law. In addition, although it does not directly center the concept of bagy, we see that some concepts that can be associated with the concept of bagy are also examined from various perspectives. However, studies in which bagy is discussed from different perspectives and similar concepts are examined differ from our study in terms of content. Because, in our study, we want to examine the concept of bagy as a tafsir term in the way it is used in the Qur'an and to reveal other aspects of the concept. We think that we will contribute to the field with this study and that the message of the Qur'an will be better understood. From this point of view, we will try to investigate this concept in the light of the Qur'an.
