The analysis of the verses of the prayers in the stories of the prophets in the Quran

People have spiritual needs as well as material needs. In this context, prayer has a separate importance for establishing a spiritual connection between the servant and the deity. In the stories in the Qur'an, there are many prayer verses belonging to the prophets and righteous people and groups. Because of the fact that these prayer verses are not underestimated in the Qur'an, we considered it necessary to study the analysis of the prayer verses in the stories of the prophet. In our study, we applied a method of data collection and analysis and, accordingly, a method based on understanding and explanation. Depending on this issue, we touched on issues such as the purpose, importance and direction of the research in the introduction section of our study. In the first chapter, after analyzing the concepts related to our topic, we included the prayers of the prophets and righteous people and groups whose names and prayers were mentioned in the Qur'an. In the second chapter, in which we evaluate the prayer verses according to the nuzul process, we included a detailed interpretation of the prayer verses within the framework of the relevant sources. By analyzing each verse within the framework of these interpretations, we have determined the message, benefits and gains given by the verses. As part of the data obtained within the scope of the first and second chapters, we have concluded that the prayer verses in the prophet's stories are generally shaped according to the mood of the nuzul environment, and that prayer has been a fitri need of man throughout history.
