Abstract (EN)

The process of change and transformation that has taken place in the world, accompanied by neoliberal policies since 1980, is defined and accepted as globalization. This process also includes political, economic and socio-cultural dimensions. Especially the economic dimension of globalization is important, it is observed that with the globalization of the economy, the liberalization of capital, goods and services movements between countries, as a result of this, the integration of the world economy under the roof of a single market and this situation further increases the economic ties between countries. In this study, the phenomenon of globalization has been discussed in detail, the risks posed by globalization have been explained and in this context, the economic crises that have emerged since the years when the globalization process gained momentum were examined. Then, the subject of behavioral economics, which includes psychology and economics, has been passed. Behavioral economics examines individual behavior with the help of psychology and argues that individuals are irrational, not rational, unlike neoclassical economics. In the last part of the thesis, the important effects of human behavior on crises are examined with the help of behavioral economics.
