Özet (EN)
The Hacı Bayrâm-ı Velî Kulliye holds a significant place in Ankara's spiritual and social life, while also serving as a strategic center influencing the surrounding commercial activities. This study examines the social, cultural, and economic impacts of sacred spaces through the example of the Hacı Bayrâm-ı Velî Kulliye, highlighting its effects on societal relations. According to the findings, the spiritual atmosphere of the Kulliye profoundly influences both visitors and merchants, fostering a sense of trust and positively reflecting on commercial activities. Merchants benefit from the economic advantages of being located near the Kulliye, as the sacred site's visitor density and spiritual values enhance customer preferences and commercial success. Participants emphasized that the social and religious dimensions of being at a sacred site are deeply intertwined with trade, noting that the increased flow of visitors during sacred times boosts economic gains while also strengthening social bonds. The study reveals that businesses around the Kulliye align their products and services with spiritual values, resulting in positive outcomes for both customer satisfaction and social responsibility. Restoration efforts have further contributed to the region's commercial vitality and enhanced the strategic importance of the Kulliye. In conclusion, the Hacı Bayrâm-ı Velî Kulliye demonstrates that sacred spaces are not merely religious centers but also serve as focal points shaping trade and social life. This finding provides valuable insights into how the relationship between sacred spaces and commerce influences social and economic dynamics. The study underscores the profound economic impacts of the spiritual influence of sacred spaces and illustrates how this relationship contributes to the broader societal structure with concrete examples.
