Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, linear and nonlinear analyses of post tensioned concrete box gieder Budan highway bridge located in Artvin-Erzurum are eveluated by finite element method. The SAP2000 package program was used for the finite element analyses of the bridge and combinations were made with loads that acted on the bridge and maximum cross sectional effects were determined accordings to the most critical loading. Morover, as a results of pushover and time history analyses, the seismic performance level, maximum displacement and maksimum base shear forces of bridge were determined. Values abtained from linear and nonlinear methods were compared. This thesis caontains four chapters. The first chapter include genral information, literatüre studies related to the topic, formulations methods related to design and calculation of prestressed bridges. The second chapter consists of information about geometric, cross section, material, applied loads and finite element model. The findings and investigations abtained from this studeis are given in the third chapter. The fourth chapter consist of results and suggestions in the light of findings and ivestigations. Finally, referances and Curriculum vitae are presented.
