Abstract (EN)
In this study, within the scope of the search for magnetic cooler materials with optimal properties, La-based La0.85Na0.15Mn1-xRuxO3 perovskite manganite compounds x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, and 1.0, were produced using the sol-gel method. The effects of Mn and Ru ion substitution on the structural, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of the produced materials were investigated. The crystal and morphological structures of the produced materials were examined. It was observed that the magnetic phase transition temperature of the unmodified material was 326 K, and with increasing Ru, this value was approximately 330 K. On the other hand, it was found that the magnetic entropy change value was significantly negatively affected. The fact that the materials exhibit a second-order magnetic phase transition stands out as a positive feature in terms of magnetic cooling cycles. They were evaluated as interesting magnetic cooling materials due to their low hysteresis losses and the fact that they are above room temperature.
