Abstract (EN)
The problems like increasing energy demand and negative environmental impacts, associated with current technologies, are among the major problems facing modern humanity. In this context, many countries allocate significant amounts of research budget to these issues, and an increasing number of research groups are conducting research for this purpose. Cooling technologies are among the studies being researched due to their high energy consumption rates, and magnetic cooling technologies have taken their place as an important alternative to existing cooling technologies. In the light of the information mentioned in this thesis study; The production of La2-xNaxNiMnO6 double perovskite materials, which are candidates for use in magnetic cooling technologies, and the characterization of their structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties were studied.
