Abstract (EN)

The mixture of cement and water is called cement paste and the mixture obtained by adding fine aggregate to this mixture is also called mortar. In this thesis, instead of standard sand, metakaolin and blast furnace slag were used at 10, 20 and 30% by weight and basalt fiber was used at 1% of cement weight. To determine the physical properties of the obtained mortar samples, ultrasound transition rate test was applied, compressive strength and bending strength test was applied for determination of mechanical properties. In addition, drying shrinkage test, electrical resistivity test and sodium sulfate test were applied to determine the properties of durability. As a result, when the produced samples for physical, mechanical and durability properties are examined, 10% samples of mortar with metakaolin and 30% blast furnace slag mortar samples were obtained in better values than the control samples.
