Peker A. T., ''Effect of Life Kinetik Trainings on Cognitive Processes'' Dumlupınar University Institute of Medical Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Doctorate Thesis, Kütahya, 2017. The Effect of Life Kinetik trainings on cognitive processes was analyzed in this research. 20 healthy athletes, who were continuing their practicing at the athlete's camp training center, which operates under the roof of provincial directorate of Agrı youth and sports, participated voluntarily in the study after the permits necessary were received from the provincial directorate of Agrı youth and sports. Athletes were selected randomly and divided into two groups. The information about the 10 athletes, who formed the experimental group, are as follow; their age average was 14.70±0.675 years, height average was 1.74±0.041 cm, body weight average was 59.30±6.993 kg, and the remaining 10 athletes formed the control group and their age average was 14.40±0.843 years, height average was 1.72±0.036 cm, body weight average was 59.20±2.201 kg. In addition to their athletic workouts, a program of life kinetik of 30 minutes for 3 days per week for 12 weeks was applied to experimental group and the control group on the other hand just continued their athletic exercises. A CAS test (Cognitive Assessment System), formed of three subtests under each scale, which is formed, all together by four scales named, Planning, Simultaneous cognitive processes, Attention and Successive cognitive processes, which were standardized and adapted to Turkey by Assistant Professor Tamer Ergin (2003), was applied to experimental subjects. Measurements were taken as before exercise (pretest) and after exercise (final test). It has been determined that normal distribution was shown after a test of normality of data was performed. In statistical assessment of data, the paired samples T test was used for dependent groups when comparing within the group and independent samples T test was used for independent groups when comparing between groups; the margin of error in this study was taken as 0.05. In line with the findings obtained at the end of the research; statistically significant difference was not determined in the comparisons of final test results between groups for Planning performance, simultaneous cognitive process performance, attention performance, consecutive cognitive process performance and CAS total score (P>0.05). On the other hand, when pretest – final test results of the experimental group was analyzed, it was seen that final test results of the experimental group for planning performance, attention performance, simultaneous cognitive process performance and CAS total point, were significantly higher than the pretest results statistically (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the pretest – final test results regarding to successive cognitive processes of the experimental group (P>0.05). Significant difference was determined between groups for ID subtest in the comparison, in terms of all subtests, regarding four cognitive processes scales of the final test results of experimental and control groups (P<0.05). No significant difference was determined between groups in terms of subtests SE, PK, PB, SB, AD, MT, SUİ, ŞH, KS, CT, and CİS. It was seen that final test results of the experimental group for subtests of SE, PK, PB, MT, ŞH, İD and SB were statistically significantly higher than the pretest results in the comparison, in terms of subtests regarding to four cognitive processes scale of the pretest – final test results of the experimental group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between pretest – final test results regarding to SUİ, KS, CT and CİS subtest of the experimental group (P>0.05).
