Abstract (EN)
Ports are of great importance for the development of countries and the global supply chain. Since more than 80% of world trade occurs by sea, port efficiency directly affects the economy of countries. It is aimed to contribute to the maritime sector by increasing port investments through port privatizations. In this study, the operational efficiency and financial efficiency of the ports were calculated and the ports were ranked according to their efficiency scores. Thus, the most efficient ports both operationally and financially were determined. Operational efficiency analysis and financial efficiency analysis were conducted with the EATWOS method using objective weighting methods. The correlation between the results of the two efficiency analyzes was calculated and it was determined that there was no significant relationship between the operational efficiency and financial efficiency of the ports.
