IN PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN OPERATED DUE TO LUMBAR SPONDYLOLISTHESIA INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS AND RESULTS OF 3 DIFFERENT SURGICAL METHODS Lumbar spondylolisthesis is the displacement of the lower and upper vertebrae towards each other, anteriorly, laterally or posteriorly, due to various reasons, as a result of a slippage outside the normal limits between the two vertebrae in any lumbar vertebra. Spondylolysis is a stress-related fracture that develops in the pars interarticularis. Spondylolisthesis may be due to degeneration or due to spondylolysis. There are many classification and grading systems for spondylolisthesis, and surgery is often not required for treatment. Depending on the degree of slippage, medical treatment is first tried in patients. In patients who do not respond to medical treatment, and especially in patient groups with prominent radiculopathy findings, in cases where uncontrolled low back pain and neurogenic claudication develop. Surgical treatment is tried in patients accompanied by motor loss. The aim of surgical treatment can be listed as improving the patient's neuromotor complaints, making the symptoms related to radiculopathy not affect the patient's daily life, and extending the walking distance. Despite surgical treatment, full recovery cannot be achieved in some patient groups due to reasons such as long term pressure on neural structures and very advanced slippage. The important thing here is to reduce the patient's complaints compared to before surgery. In surgical treatment, after the patient is put to sleep in the prone position, the skin, subcutaneous and paravertebral muscles are passed through a midline incision and the level where the slip occurs is reached. Screws are placed at the upper and lower levels of the pedicles of the vertebral segment where spondylolisthesis is located. After the screws are placed, the system is fixed with 2 rods. These rods used to fix the system are different. flexibility and hardness. In this study, we investigated the long-term results of 3 different rod systems with different structures. We showed XIV the superiority of the rods we used over each other. We have statistically demonstrated the superiority of the hybrid and dynamic rod system over the rigid rod system. The results of the dynamic rod system are superior compared to the rigid rod system. It was found. Especially in the hybrid rod system, the possibility of developing pseudoarthrosis and adjacent segments was found to be lower than in other systems. What we want to emphasize here is that the use of flexible rods, that is, dynamic and hybrid rods, distributes the load on the system relatively more evenly, so the possibility of pseudoarthrosis and adjacent segment disease is lower.
