Currently, the rate of substance use and, accordingly, substance use disorder is increasing, which brings with it many problems. Determining variables related to substance use disorder can guide treatment and Prevention Studies. There are studies in the literature that examine the relationship between substance use disorder and family. But there are not many studies that can be inferred about substance use and sibling relationships. At the same time, there are studies that examine the impact of psychological endurance on difficult life events. There are common generalizations in society that people with substance use have broken relationships. The aim of this study was to examine the relationships between sibling relationships, psychological endurance and cognitive distortions related to relationships in individuals with and without substance use disorders. The scope of the research, Antep 25 Aralık State Hospital Amatem clinic, previously diagnosed with a substance use disorder who uses opiates and meth 150 150 individuals without a history of substance use with individuals with "personal information form", "the scale of lifelong sibling relationships", "Durability Scale for adults" and "about relationships cognitive distortions Scale" was applied. The data from the surveys were analyzed using descriptive and relational screening models. As a result of the study, it was found that people with substance use disorders had less positive sibling relationships compared to people without substance use disorders. In addition, the lower the sense of self, future-oriented perspective less positive, motivating less of a way of life, of family harmony, fewer social skills and more social resources is inefficient. In addition, it was found that they avoid intimacy more in relationships, more enter into unrealistic expectations from the people with whom they have a relationship.
