Abstract (EN)

In this study, [Cu2(µ-aa)4(1,2-dimeim)2] (1), [Cu(maa)2(4-meim)2H2O] (2), [Cu(maa)2(2-etil-4-meim)2] (3) complexes were synthesized by using acrylate (aa) and methacrylate (maa) as anionic ligand and 1,2-dimethylimidazole (1,2-diMeim), 4-metilimidazol (4-Meim) and 2-etil-4-metilimidazol (2-etil-4Meim) as neutral ligands. Composition of complexes were determined by elemental analysis. Complexes spectroscopic (UV-Vis, IR), magnetic and thermal properties were investigated. 1, 2 and 3 complexes were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction method. The spin magnetic moments of the complexes were calculated by measuring magnetic susceptibility at room temperature. Cu(II) complexes were observed to be paramagnetic. Thermal decomposition behavior of the complexes were investigated by TG, DTG and DTA techniques. Thermal analys is datas show that complexes lose neutral ligands in the first step of decomposition then the following stages anionic ligands decompose to metaloxides. In 1 complex acrylate acted as anionic bidantate bridge ligand and bonded to metal via its carboxylate oxygen. Methacrylate acted as anionic monodantate ligand in 2 complex. In 3 complex methacrylate acted as anionic bidantate chelate ligand. Neutral ligands are coordinated to the metal through the nitrogen atom of imidazole ring. Coordination geometry of central atom in the (1) and (2) complexes of square pyramidal geometry (3) complex was found to be distorted octahedral.
