Abstract (EN)
The flipped learning model is formed by reversing traditional instructional methods. In the context of mathematics education, the flipped learning model is based on the principle that students learn the content at home and engage in interactive, hands-on activities with their teachers and peers during class time. Allocating classroom time for applications is particularly important in subjects like mathematics, which involve abstract concepts, as it helps make the learning process more concrete and lasting. One of the fundamental components of the flipped learning model is the integration of technology. In recent years, the development of technological tools and the shift to online education during the COVID-19 pandemic have accelerated the adoption and dissemination of this model. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of publications on flipped learning and technology in mathematics education, to identify current trends in the field, and to provide guidance for future research. The study was designed using the descriptive survey model, one of the qualitative research methods, and the Scopus database was used as the data source. A total of 167 research articles published between 2012 and 2024 were analyzed. The findings reveal a significant increase in academic interest in flipped learning, especially after 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The shift to online education during this period has heightened the relevance of technology-supported instructional methods and led to an increase in publications on the subject. The model was found to be strongly associated with concepts such as online learning, active learning, and computer-assisted instruction. The United States, China, and Taiwan emerged as central countries in terms of productivity and international collaboration. Additionally, scholars such as Bergmann, Bishop, and Abeysekera were identified as key contributors, and the flipped learning model has evolved into an interdisciplinary approach over time.
