Abstract (EN)

In this study, nine folk stories in verse which we think that they were put in writing in XVth century are examined in linguistic terms. Categorized as journal, the manuscript is registered to A 276 archive number with the name of Mecmû'a-i Hikâyât in the section of Manuscripts and Rare Works of Turkish Language Society Library. Starting with Münacat (1b-3b), the journal includes nine stories: Hikâyet-i Hatun (4a-8b), Hikâyet-i Kesük Baş (9a-12b), Hikâyet-i Hatem (12b-18b), Hikâyet-i Gazal (18b-22a), Hikâyet-i Baykuş (22a-23b), Hikâyet-i Dolab (23b-25a), Hikâyet-i Hatun ve Kızı (25a-29b), Hikâyet-i Divane (29b-31b), Hikâyet-i Divane (31b-32b). The last story in the mecmua is missing. The study is formed of six parts which are Introduction, Analysis, Conclusion, Transcription, Dictionary and Facsimile. In Introduction part after giving information about the tradition of folk story, poetic folktales and journals, we introduce structure and content of journal of our work. In the Analysis part, the work is examined in terms of spelling characteristcs, phonetics and morphology. In the part of Transcription, the text in transcription of the manuscript is given. In the part of Dictionary, the words taking place in the text are explained in meaning according to their use in the text. Thus an contextual dictionary is formed. At the end of the work, Facsimile of the text is given.
