Abstract (EN)

Being motionable, motion or mobility; responds to people and spatial needs, can be moved or can be changed the state, is a concept that corresponds to movement and displacement as opposed to stability. Being motionable in architectural products or space is becoming more and more common in the world. Mobile micro housings, one of the movable architectural products, are among the dynamic spaces where life is continued by changing their location. On the other hand, with the spatial components and elements that ensure movement in mobile micro-housing, the spatial organization diversifies and the possibility in the space increases. Accordingly, the main purpose of the thesis study is to evaluate the motion process through components and elements in the space and to show the effect of movement in the space. Explaining the effect of movement on space with the concepts of movement, change, impermanence and emptiness, the process of movement in space and the reactions to movement in space were discussed within the framework of the study. As a result of the literature scans, the "motion in space" model was created by examining what definitions of the concept of motion are and how the movement is handled in architecture and mobile micro-housing. 20 mobile micro-houses identified according to the 'motion in space' model were analyzed. With the movement in mobile micro-housing, the answer of 5 basic questions was sought. As a result, it is seen that motion in space affects the organization of space, and when the design of everything that can be moved is done correctly, the action areas found in the standard residence can be met. In the process of motion in the space, it is seen that opportunities can be provided to the housing with movement actions, as well as that some movement actions create restrictions in the housing. It shows different functional, visual and dimensional reactions to the movement that occurs in the residential space. It is believed that when all effects, processes and reactions are examined, the habitability and usefulness of the space will increase when applied, taking into account the movement in the space when designing the space.
