Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to prepare melamine imprinted magnetic membrane with non-covalent molecular imprinting (MIP) method by using poly(vinyl alcohol-co-ethylene) (PVAE) for preconcentration and determination of melamine, having negative effects on people health, in a solution. PVAE was prepared by gelling techniques in a dispersed phase. For imparting magnetic properties to membranes, Fe3O4 particles prepared by the Massart method was distributed homogeneously into the polymer gel. Finally, template melamine molecules (2,4,6-triamino 1,3,5-triazine) were added into polymerization medium. Prepared melamine imprinted magnetic polymer was poured onto petri dishes to obtain film membrane. The obtained film membranes were cutted into 0.5 cm pieces in diameter for studies of preconcentration and determination of melamine in solution. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) was used. For elucidation of the surface morphology The magnetism characteristics of prepared membranes were measured with Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Some of the results obtained from the experiments are reported below: UV absorption measurements were conducted in a spectrophotometer at 233 nm. Maximum melamin adsorption with melamine imprinted polymers (MIP) and non-imprinted polymers was observed at pH 5.0 as 308,8 µg melamine/g polymer. and 14,8 µg melamin/g polimer, respectively. The use of melamine imprinted membranes was tested against to cyromazine as an competitor agent, as well, and maximum cyromazine adsorption with 89 µg cyromazine /g polymer was observed. The desorption of prepared membranes was carried out in an easy and fast way with with 1 M NaCl solution. It was observed that melamine imprinted magnetic membranes were several times without losing their properties.
