An analysis of Melek Özlem Sezer's fairy tale books in terms of vocabulary and messages

A rich vocabulary is required in order to convey your feelings and thoughts correctly and to communicate with people in a correct and effective way. The lexicon consists of all the words that make up a language. The title of "vocabulary" included in the Turkish lesson reading skill acquisitions is an indicator of how much the Ministry of National Education puts emphasis on this issue. It is in our hands to further enrich the rich vocabulary of our beautiful Turkish. Studies on our rich vocabulary are continuing. In this work titled "An Investigation of Melek Özlem Sezer's Fairy Tale Books in Terms of Word Presence and Language Messages", Sezer's "Fish in the Hat, I Wrote Poetry, I Thought It Was Fairy Tales, I Wrote My Tales, I Sanded My Gloves, Who Stole My Gloves? Who Stole the Shadow of Karagöz? Changing? Have You Ever Seen Kebikeç? " It is aimed to reveal the vocabulary and its elements in the works named", to examine the contribution of these vocabulary elements to Turkish, to examine the language messages of the fairy tales in the works and to contribute to the studies that have been done so far. The research is a qualitative research and literature scanning and document analysis methods were used for the data of the research. First of all, while giving information about fairy tales, which is a type of children's literature and children's literature, the subject of fairy tales in World and Turkish literature is mentioned. His work on fairy tales and The life of Melek Özlem Sezer, who is also known for her awards, her works, literary personality and her perspective on fairy tales were also emphasized. During the examination, vocabulary elements (basic vocabulary, idioms, proverbs, terms, reduplications, stereotypes, reflection words, slang expressions) were determined and the findings were tabulated and interpreted in terms of Turkish education. As a result of the research, Melek Özlem Sezer's "Fish in the Hat, I Wrote Poetry, I Thought It Was Fairy Tales, I Wrote Poems, I Wrote Poems, Who is Stealing My Gloves? Who Stole the Shadow of Karagöz? Alas, Shadows Are Changing? Have You Ever Seen Kebikec?" It has been determined that his works are at a sufficient level in terms of vocabulary, except for proverbs. It has been determined that the studied works are rich in vocabulary elements, especially in terms of basic vocabulary, idioms, duplications and reflection words. In addition, the vocabulary elements detected in the fairy tales were determined by the first grade students and II. It has been determined that 5th and 6th grade students can contribute to Turkish education.
