Abstract (EN)

The research was conducted in the 2020-2021 planting period in order to examine the effects of different potassium dosage applications (0,2,4,6 and 8 kg/decare) on the yield and yield elements in the lentil varieties registered in the ecological conditions of Mardin. In the study, the field experiment was set up in three recurrence according to the experimental pattern of randomly divided parcel blocks. According to the results of the research, while cultivar and potassium fertilizer doses were statistically significant in terms of plant height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, grain yield and harvest index, only potassium fertilizer doses were found to be significant in first pod height and in biological yield characteristics. As a result of the study, it was determined that the values obtained due to the potassium fertilizer doses applied to the investigated properties in lentil cultivars changed in the following ranges. Plant length 29.1-42.7 cm, first pod height 20.7-33.1 cm, branch number 2.6-3.9 pieces, the number of pods per plant 13.8-31.6 items, number of grains per plant 16.8-32.8 pieces, grain yield 130.6-193.4 kg /da, thousand grain weight 29.9-33.0 g, biological yield 445.3-540.7 kg /da, harvest index of 29.2-35.6%. In conclusion, that the Fırat-87 lentil variety was more productive than the Çağıl variety in the ecological conditions of Mardin, and that increasing potassium fertilizer doses had a positive effect on the grain yield of the varieties.
