Abstract (EN)

Mesîhî, who lived just after the 14th century, which is accepted as the beginning of classical Turkish literature, is a poet who made important contributions to the development of classical Turkish literature in the 15th century. According to literary historians, Mesîhî is among the well-known and popular poets of his time. In this study, 53-102nd ghazals in the Mesîhî Dîvân were annotated. Since the first fifty ghazals in Turkish in Dîvân were previously annotated as the subject of a master's thesis, 53-102nd ghazals constitute the subject of this study. As the text of the Divan, the study named Mesîhî Dîvânı prepared by Mine Mengi was taken as the basis, and the poems were annotated with the classical annotation method. In the introduction part of the study, information is given about the life, literary personality and works of Mesîhî in line with the information obtained from the sources. In the main part where the poems are annotated, each ghazal is handled in a couplet integrity, and the couplets are first translated into prose using the words in the original text and then their equivalents in today's Turkish. The poems have been annotated in the direction of mazmuns and literary arts, considering the use of words in classical Turkish literature, their figurative and mystical meanings.
