The aim of this research is to determine the problems encountered in the experiments conducted in the Electrical, Electronics and Measurement Teaching Laboratory at the 10th grade of high school and to investigate the effect of an action plan to improve the students' laboratory application skills in order to solve these problems. In the study, "Research / practice / mutual cooperation / discussion-based action research" was used as a research model. In the study, semi-structured interview questions were used for the first time in order to identify students' opinions about their contributions to the laboratory practices, to identify the problems they encountered in the laboratory, to determine what applications are most challenging, and to determine the problems that teachers have in practice and the applications they impose. The working group in this section of the research is composed of 9 students from Çarşamba M.T.A.L., 9 students from Ağcagüney Ç.P.A.L. and 4 Electrical Electronics Technology teachers. An action plan was prepared according to an analysis of semi-structured interview questions. The study group, which is directed to the experimental part of the research, consists of 30 students in Samsun province Çarşamba district, Çarşamba Vocational High School, 10/D and 10/F branches. 15 students in experimental group composed of two groups with unbiased assignment to measure students' application skills performed experiments with computer using animations prepared with Adobe Flash CS5 program and simulations prepared with Proteus 8 program and made electronic circuits in real workshop environment. 15 students in the control group, the Board of Education adopted the 07.09.2005 date and 324 numbered decision Electricity Electronics and Measurement Course curriculum teaching done by the specified events lessons are taught with relevant methods and techniques. The implementation phase of the study was carried out during the first semester of 2016 - 2017 academic year, for 6 weeks in October and November. As a data collection tool in the research; "Semi-structured Interview Forms" and "Experimental Observation Chart" were used. Quantitative data were analyzed by SPSS 15.0 program and qualitative data by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the development of the experimental group students performing the experiment activities using the animation and the simulation in the Electrical and Electronics workshop applications was higher than the control group students performing the classical experimental activities. In addition, extensive interviews were conducted with interviews with the experimental group on the use of animation and simulation. This work is thought to be an important work contributing to the field teachers who want to work in the field teachers and the field teachers in terms of the use of animation and simulation in the workshop applications, the effects of the students on the development of the application skills, and the elimination of the basic problems students encounter in the workshop applications. This study is important in terms of solving the problems experienced in application of animation and simulation in students' workshop applications.
