A Humor magazine during the Constitutional Period: Geveze Magazine

In this thesis study, the newspaper which went to the way of becoming active in the last period of the Ottoman Empire, and the humor magazines which carried the character of a magazine separately as a newspaper article before the beginning were mentioned. The humor press, the grinding that exists in the Ottoman geography, Nasreddin Hodja Fıkraları, Hacivat Karagöz have been presented with works loved by the public because of the more literary form of middle games. These magazines, which criticize the state and the state in the serious way in the political direction, are sometimes confronted with decisions to be closed down. In this work, it will be told which cartoon drawings were made about the structure, content, contents of the magical humor magazine, what was rebellion in the country in the year of departure.
