In this study, cyclohexen-3-yl-methyl methacrylate monomer was obtained from the reaction of 3-cyclohexene-1-methanol compound with methacryloyl chloride. The homopolymerization of the synthesized monomer and of the isobornyl methacrylate monomer to be used in the study was carried out by free radicals at 70 ° C in the presence of AIBN initiator in 1,4-dioxane solvent. The multi-walled carbon nanotube of the obtained homopolymer and the homopolymer of a commercial monomer, isobornyl methacrylate monomer, were prepared by solution processing method at different percentages. Structural characterization of homopolymers was carried out using FT-IR and 1H-NMR techniques. Structural characterization of composites was performed by FT-IR technique. Thermal stability and electrical conductivity of composites were investigated.
