Michael Ende's translation of children literature book for child literature and analysis of the basic oh children literature

Michael Ende's Translation of Children Literature Books For Child Literature and Analysis of The Basic Elements of Children Literature The books that will meet with the child can fulfill their function to the extent that the child is able to reach the imaginary universe with language and visuality. Individuals who think, question, and acquire the habit of reading are the ones who could meet the books that opened the world to him in his childhood. The aim of this thesis is to examine the works of Michael Ende and to determine the basic features of children's literature. In this study, the works produced by Michael Ende for Children's Literature are examined in terms of their conformity with the basic principles of children's literature and children's literature. In the study, document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research types, was used. The works of Michael Ende, translated into Turkish, have been researched. A total of 5 books were examined. The research consists of 4 chapters and the books are examined according to two titles as internal structure and external structure. When the results obtained from the examinations were examined, it was determined that heroes were characters that children could identify with. It was seen that the subjects lead the reader in making sense of life and human. The books examined were found suitable for children's literature in terms of the message it gave. It was observed that language and expression characteristics reflect Turkish consciousness in general. It has been observed that the picture has a facilitating effect on the imagination and estimation of the content. Keywords: Child, children and literatüre, child relation, Michael Ende
