Abstract (EN)
Midhat Pasha is one of the most important figures of the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century. He tried to implement an example of the transformation and innvation movement that started with the the Hatt-i Sharif of Gülhane during the governorship of the Danube Province in the Balkans. He is an Ottoman intellectual who devoted his whole life to serving his country. He will believe that the salvation of the country will be achieved by increasing the welfare of the people, and fort his he is a statesman. In his memory, he explained the services he had done in the state levels, the results encountered, the deficiencies in the administration and administrations. He was accused of the death of Sultan Abdulaziz, tried in Yıldız court and sent to Tâif prison, where he died.
