Abstract (EN)

Although pumice powder is mostly used in different areas of the construction sector, its use in other sectors is very low. Particularly in this study, the particle size of the material was analyzed and it was aimed to spread the industrial use of pumice-doped materials to different sectors. In order to meet the demand of a company producing building chemicals located in the Organized Industrial Zone of Adıyaman, the analysis of the building material produced was examined. According to the results, pumice powder production, micronization, density evaluation and other experimental processes were carried out in cooperation with the company in order to provide R & D and innovation contribution. Microstructure and characterization of the obtained samples were examined by using FE-SEM device. Morphological properties of samples by taking SEM images, also with EDS method electron distribution of elements and results and suggestions were made on possible situations.
