The effect of place experience and place quality concepts on revisiting tendency in public gardens

As a result of increasing unplanned construction, urban open spaces are decreasing more and more. The need and importance of urban open spaces cannot be ignored because of the opportunities they offer people. Urban open spaces are the main integration tool of a city. These spaces are places where citizens or users from different cultures interact with each other or with the environment and where mutual cultural accumulations and experiences are shared. The quality of life in the city is determined by the interaction of people and the environment, so urban open spaces and the possibilities of these spaces are important elements for the city and the user. In this thesis study, the physical and social features offered by the national gardens, the spaces that meet the needs of the people, and the relationship between place quality and place experience concepts will be examined, and the effect of this relationship on the revisit intention will be investigated. The research method will consist of observation, computer-aided visualization, questionnaire, and cognitive maps. At the end of the study, factors affecting the revisiting intention of national gardens will be revealed.
