Abstract (EN)
Çiftçi Bilgisi newspaper was published in Ottoman Turkish as the media organ of the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union. The newspaper, which started its publication life in Sofia on Friday, January 23, 1920, continued its publication for four years, but on June 9, 1923, it had to interrupt its publications with the coup d'état. Although it started broadcasting again on November 6, 1931, it was closed on May 19, 1934. In this thesis titled "A Newspaper in Bulgaria during the Turkish National Movement: Çiftçi Bilgisi (1920-1921)", the fifty issues between the seventieth issue of 10 December 1920 and the one hundred and twentieth issue of 29 December 1921 were translated from Ottoman Turkish to today's Turkish and analyzed in terms of form and content. The news in the newspaper were grouped according to their topics and evaluated in terms of historical, political, economic, social and cultural. During the Turkish National Movement period, the newspaper published in Ottoman Turkish in Bulgaria and supported the National Movement in Turkey and defended the interests of the Bulgarian Turks and the Bulgarian state in Bulgaria. It has been seen that Çiftçi Bilgisi tries to make objective journalism under all circumstances. Key Words: Çiftçi Bilgisi, Bulgarian Agrarian National Union, Bulgarian Turks, the Turkish National Movement, Kuvayımilliye
