Abstract (EN)

In today's world, education and teaching require rapid adaptation to the ever-changing technology and conditions of the era. International accreditation bodies such as the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) categorize the qualities to be acquired in the design school environment under the headings of "awareness, understanding, and skills." The focus of design education, which aims to prepare individuals for the profession, is not only to impart the ability to design but also to teach the thinking and behavioral patterns of designing. In this context, the question of "How should design education be delivered?" is becoming increasingly important in today's design schools. Design studios, which form the backbone of design schools, are the courses where all these inquiries are most intensely experienced. Design studios should support learners in being aware of, understanding, and developing the knowledge and skills they are expected to acquire throughout their education. In this study, a learning approach based on the "SCAMPER Technique" is proposed to reinforce the targeted learning outcomes in architectural design studios. It is believed that through this approach, learners will be able to understand and develop the targeted learning outcomes in architectural design studios by reinforcing them with a practical and systematic guide.
