Abstract (EN)
Pesticide consumption in agricultural areas worldwide is steadily increasing. There are many side effects of pesticide use in nature. Contamination of water resources is only one of these reactions. Used in agricultural areas, pesticides reach rivers and seas. Most importantly, damage to non-target organisms. In this study, Deltamethrin pesticide treatment of sample wastewater was investigated by the electrocoagulation method. In the studies, the effects of current density, amount of support electrolyte, amount of hydrostatic peroxide (H2O2) on COD removal efficiency and energy use were investigated by using iron electrodes. In the experiments where sample wastewater was prepared by using deltamethrin pesticide, COD value was decreased from 316,8 mg / L to 48 mg / L and 84,84% treatment was achieved.
