Urban and architectural understanding of Turgut Cansever as a solution to modern city problems

The city is where people, culture, nature relations and interactions experience the most intense. As a living organism, it affects today and tomorrow in a process that goes from past to future. Along with the formation of the modern city, the resulting change in the dimension of the relationship between man and nature has caused many problems. The preservation of the people living in the modern city has a vital prospect of ensuring a sustainable relationship between man and nature. In this study, the problems that emerged from the fundamental change in human, culture and nature relations as well as the formation of the modern city were questioned. Cansever's city and architectural approaches were evaluated by considering the possibilities to solve these problems.
