Abstract (EN)

Cationic Polymerization of Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and Epichlorohydrin (EPH) by the Mono/Di-Bromomethyl Benzoyl Peroxides and AgSbFs/ZnCfe Initiating Systems Macromonomeric peroxy initiators, poly (tetrahydrofuran-b-epichlorohydrin) [Poly (THF-b-EPH)] were synthesized via cationic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran (THF) and epichlorohydrin (EPH) by the mono/di-bromomethyl benzoyl peroxides and AgSbFo/ZnCk initiating systems. The living cationic polymer chain was terminated by using potassium methacrylate salt and the vinyl group was added the end of macromonomeric peroxy initiator. The initiators were characterized by ^-NMR, FT-IR, GPC and DSC techniques. Poly (THF-b-EPH-b-MMA) and Poly (THF-b-EPH-b-S) multicomponents were obtained as a result of the block copolyrnerization with methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (S) of macromonomeric Poly(THF-b-EPH) initiators at different times at 90°C. Graft copolymers were obtained by using macromonomeric Poly (THF-b-EPH) initiators having peroxygen group with polybutadiene (PBd) for different times at 90°C. The soluble and insoluble parts were seperated. The swelling ratios of crosslinked graft copolymers were investigated in CHC13. The characterization of the multicomponent and graft copolymers synthesized were also done by FT-IR spectrophotometer.
