Moral characteristics of muhaddiths

The moral values of the Qur'an and Sunnah are the cornerstones of muhaddiths. Therefore, Quran and Sunnah has been accepted as indispensable values for muhaddiths in their daily life and for individuals and society. Our thesis aims to examine the exemplary moral behaviors of the muhaddiths in tabakat books since the companions who narrated many ahadith. From this point of view, our research will consist of two parts. In the first part; by analyzing the concept of moral/ethic in the Quran and Sunnah and explaining the fundamental terms related to our work, we aimed to shape it. In the second part; we gathered the moral characteristics under the main headings and placed the lives and exemplary morals of muhaddiths into it with chronological order.
