Muhammed Iqbal's understandi̇ng of knowledge

The subject of this thesis is the understanding of knowledge of one of the biggest thinkers of our age Muhammed Ikbal. The point of my study is to identify Muhammed Ikbal's position in terms of philosophy of knowledge and to express his original thoughts about this matter. Although Ikbal isnt an epistolomogist, being raised by Indian, Islamic, and Western thinking set him apart. The study consists of three parts: introduction, three parts and a conclusion. In introduction, information is given about main assertion of the thesis, its process of consisting and accessing to main sources. In addition, topics of the parts are explained. In the first part, intellectual world of Muhammed Iqbal is introduced; as for in the second part, the thoughts about sciencentific understanding of Muhammed Iqbal is given place. In the third part, Muhammed Iqbal's understanding of knowledge is analyzed. Also in this part, from the point of definition, sources and limit of knowledge in knowledge philosopy, the position of Muhammed Iqbal is tried to be specified. As for at the conclusion part of the study, main approaches of Muhammed Iqbal, related to his unique contribution to knowledge philosopy is tried to be introduced.
