Abstract (EN)

The tool known as Cisco Packet Tracer was created by Cisco, as the name suggests. By means of the program, you can practice on both simple and sophisticated networks. CPT (Cisco Packet Tracer's) major objective is to assist students in gaining actual networking experience and developing technology-specific abilities. Given that the protocols are only implemented in software, this software does not take the role of hardware switches or routers. It is advised to use this tool since teachers use Cisco Packet Trace to illustrate network systems and technical concepts in courses like CCNA and CCENT. Students use this program to do their tasks either independently in groups. In addition, services are offered in Russian, German, Spanish, and French languages. Students may build intricate and sizable networks using Cisco Packet Tracer, which is frequently not achievable with physical gear owing to cost. The Faculty of Engineering must now develop and implement a solution for a secure corporate network to compete globally. This study aims to create dependable, controllable, scalable, and helpful network simulation for engıneerıng faculty. In this study, the hierarchical network model is used to connect the numerous services that make up the business network as a whole. As the infrastructure of engineering faculty, a physical and logical network topology was created, and simulation results explained that the authentication server receives http traffic from any user trying to connect to the network and directs it there to check their credentials before allowing access. Additionally, the outcome demonstrates that the Cisco ASA (Adaptive Security Appliance) distribution switches, core routers, and the integrated service routers are set up properly.
