Batur, who retired with the expiration of his term as Air Force Command and his military life ended, commenced his political life with the election of the quota senator by President Fahri Korutürk and became a presidential candidate in the last term of his senatorship. The purpose of the study is to examine Muhsin Batur's perspective, attitude, and influence on the military and political events of the period.
