The image of the Munzur University through the eyes of the city (Tunceli)

The world is becoming more complex day by day, taking on a variable structure with the effect of developing technology and economic fluctuations. These changes affect people in a personal sense and everything related to them. Especially the fact that today's universities play an active role in raising, developing and directing the people who form the building blocks of society, makes the concept of corporate image very important for universities. In this context, the aim of this study is to reveal how the corporate image of Munzur University is perceived by the employees and the role of various demographic variables in predicting the perception of corporate image. This descriptive research was conducted with 169 employees who are actually working at Munzur University and agreed to participate in the research. In the realization of the research, the convenience sampling technique, which is one of the non-random sampling methods, was used. The data were collected with demographic questions created by the researchers and the "Corporate Image Scale". Analysis of the data was evaluated by a test of variance, t-test and correlation analysis. As a result of the research, a significant difference was found between the corporate image perceptions of the employees and the variable of "educational status" and "tasks in the institution". In addition, in the study, it was determined that the corporate image perceptions of the employees were at a moderate level. Finally, suggestions were made about the missing aspects.
