Abstract (EN)
In this study, the heroic women in Murathan Mungan's stories and novels were analysed. Throughout the analysis, the literary works were put into a chronological order, according to their date of release. Firstly, storybooks were analyzed according to chronological order. Afterwards, the same method was followed for the novels.After giving some information about the books, the female characters criticized and the related images were explained.Viewpoints of female heroines were examined, a general evaluation was made upon giving examples of female types.An attempt was made to explain how the woman issue were held, women's identity crisis, the problems they experience, their iner conflicts, their biologies, their social roles, problems with their same and opposite sexes, their struggle for life. Women heroines were evaluated in the postmodern literal perspective, based on their personal affairs and social roles. Key Words: Story, Novel, Women, Identity, Society, Postmodernism.
