Abstract (EN)
In this study, black locust plantations and adjacent grasslands in Murgul-Artvin Area (established in 1996) have been investigated for the purpose of : surface runoff and erosion potantiyel. A total of 12 ( Six in southern slopes and six in northern slopes) sampling plots were chosen. For this purposes total from this sampling plots, water samples were taken to calculate surface runoff and sediment Nowember 2008 to May 2010. Surface runoff and sediment were determined monthly during a year period in each sampling plot.At result, surface runoff were four and a half fold lower in black locust stands compared to grasslands. Sediment moved from grassland six fold lower than black locust plantations.
